PART OF MY STRESS OVER MY TERMINAL CANCER IS NOT ABOUT DYING, PER SE, BUT DYING WITHOUT EVERYTHING IN ORDER. I BLAME LAW SCHOOL ON TOP OF MY TYPE-A PERSONALITY
Of course, as a former practicing attorney. I have all the necessary legal paperwork in order for when I die. However, I’m stressing about my credit cards, our financial documents, my disability income and Social Security ensuring it goes to my husband when I’m gone, etc.
WHEN YOU TOOK CARE OF THE FINANCIAL END OF THINGS
Further My husband will admit, I took care of the paperwork-type things in our life. I put all important documentation labeled in file folders in my desk. However, my husband has no clue about that system. He’s a construction worker, so he’s not accustomed to an office set/up like I am. Also, I tend to work within my own lil world of chaos. Ask me where something is and I’ll get it in about 2 minutes.
Other people don’t exactly understand my chaos.
I set-up the automatic payments for our bills. Some are strictly debited from my personal credit cards. Which ones? I’m not even sure.
WHAT IS YOUR PASSWORD? No Idea!
I cannot remember my passwords to “save my life” . Haha death humor!
This is a good idea, albeit such a hard one to face that I imagine many would want to avoid even thinking about it.
I tried to see your previous post to know what’s going on with your results but it says page not found. I don’t want to infer from this post, but it doesn’t sound good. I don’t know what to say, but I’m incredibly damn sorry if you’ve had anything but the all clear. Sending my love and best wishes 💜
